herein lie the tools for success in Mighty physics!
Welcome to the exciting world of A.P. Physics. I am Mr. Diehl, and I will be facilitating this course. The course will cover all of the same concepts as a 1st year college physics course. This is an Advanced Placement course which means students will have the opportunity to earn college credit with successful scoring on the Advanced Placement Exam in May. Most colleges and universities require a score of 4 (on a 5-point scale) in order to receive credit and be exempt from the first level physics course.
This course requires LOTS of hard work and dedication on a daily basis. Loafers shall not be tolerated. Students should study every day by practicing in writing. It keeps your mind engaged. Staring at notes is not effective as it has too many distractions. Physics is much like sports: it is mastered by practicing every day! I welcome you to my world. I hope you enjoy the Phun, because Physics is Phun! |
